Deuces Wild Rules
The rules of Deuces Wild are actually pretty simple. To get started, you insert your money into the machine. Then, you select how many coins you'd like to bet per hand. You can select between one and five coins, and we always recommend betting five coins because you'll receive a huge bonus if you happen to make a royal flush.

Deuces Wild Strategy
Deuces Wild requires different strategy than most video poker games because of the wild card. To maintain the best possible payout percentage while playing Deuces Wild you need to be using perfect Deuces Wild strategy. That is a topic of it's own, so we're just going to provide a few important tips here, and if you want to learn more you can read the article above.
- A pair on the initial deal is actually worth more than two pair, because two pair doesn't pay out. If you have two pair on the initial deal, you should only hold one pair in hopes of making three of a kind.
- Four to an inside straight flush is actually better than a made straight or a made flush. You're better off drawing to the straight flush than taking just the straight/flush payout.
- Four to a royal flush is actually better than a made straight flush or a made four of a kind. Since the royal flush payout is so big, you're better off drawing to that than taking the straight flush/four of a kind payout.
